FA Cup Attendances for 1984/85 season

This time back 40 years to the 1984/85 season This was Dartford 's year in the FA Cup in reaching the Second Round Proper, drawing 1-1 at Watling Street at home match against AFC Bournemouth. With the prospect of facing Manchester United in the Third Round if they could overcome Bournemouth in the replay.  Unfortunately, the Darts lost 4-1 in the replay. Highlights for the week ending 24 November 2024 A shorter list that normal this week, with the weather causing havoc and a number of matches called off. In the London Senior Cup, Cray Wanderers recorded their highest home attendance in a county cup fixture in 14 years, with a crowd of 226 against Erith Town on Tuesday night, who were entertained with a 11 goal thriller. On Wednesday night Forest Hill Park (SE Dons) recorded their highest ever attendance for a county cup match, when a crowd of 209 fans turned up the London Senior Trophy cup match against Croydon. On a very wet and windy Saturday,  Folkestone Invicta  recorded their lowest home league attendance of the season, against Bognor Regis Town, with a crowd of  515 .  Chatham Town recorded their lowest home league attendance of the season, against Whitehawk with a crowd of 712 as Storm Bert hit Kent.  The adverse weather conditions, also resulted in Cray Valley Papers Mills recording their lowest ho...

Kent League 1994/95 season attendances

Heading back thirty years to the Kent League Looking back to the 1994/95 season , with a full attendance grid below for all the teams competing in the Kent League Division One. Many of the clubs featured have moved up the pyramid, a number of been up pyramid and returned the equivalent level today in the SCEFL Premier Division.  One team has  never been promoted and relegated in 30 years, in Tunbridge Wells, whilst  Canterbury City are now playing one step lower in the SCEFL Division One. The Kent football scene has also lost 6 of the clubs featured in Darenth Heathside, Furness, Greenwich Borough, Kent Police, Slade Green and Thamesmead Town .   Finally Crockenhill are still going, albeit they have fallen down the football ladder to the Kent County League Division Two level.  The season's highest attendance was  447, which occurred twice, when  Folkestone Invicta  entertained Sheppey United and Dartford hosted Folkestone Invicta The lowes...

Highlights for the week ending 17 November 2024 On Tuesday night  Faversham Town   recorded their highest League Cup home attendance for 60 plus years, when their entertained the town's other senior club Faversham Strike Force, when a crowd of   4 20 turned up.   Greenways recorded their highest ever League Cup home attendance with a crowd of 70 against Fisher on Tuesday night.   Whilst Ebbsfleet United suffered a heavy defeat on Saturday, they recorded highest home attendance against Solihull Moors with a crowd of 1664 .  The crowd was also their highest league attendance for the season.  Ashford United recorded their highest home league attendance against East Grinstead Town with a crowd of 434 . Erith Town smashed their highest home league attendance against Hythe Town, which had stood since the 2000/01 season, with a crowd of 162 at Bayliss Avenue on Saturday. Highlights for the week ending 10 November On Tuesday night Folkestone Invicta smashed their record home attendance, against local rivals Dover Athletic with a crowd of 2906 . Their previous highest attendance in a competitive was also against Dover Athletic back in April 2002, when 2278 turned up at Cheriton Road. Erith Town   recorded their highest home league attendance against Sheppey United with a crowd of   162 on Tuesday night.   Phoenix Sports recorded their highest home league attendance against Sittingbourne with a crowd of   149  on Tuesday night.   Onto Saturday and  Rochester United recorded their highest home attendance in a FA Vase match with a crowd of 236 against Fleet Town.  Faversham Town recorded their highest home attendance in a FA Vase match with a crowd of 301 against Billingshurst and progress to the Third Round of the FA Vase for only their second time.  Whitstable Town recorded their highest home attendance ...

Kent attendance stats for the 1 & 2 November 2024 Tonbridge Angels smashed their attendance record at the Longmead Stadium yesterday with a crowd of 3132 in their First Round FA Cup match against Harborough Town.  This was the Angels highest home attendance since April 1973, when 3343 supporters turned up for their Southern League match against Maidstone United at the old Angel Ground.  Punjab United recorded their highest attendance of the season, against SCEFL Premier Division favourites Faversham Town in their Friday night match, with a crowd of 352. Chatham Town  recorded their highest home league attendance against Lewes with a crowd of 1187.   Deal Town recorded their highest home league attendance against Hythe Town with a crowd of 605, beating their previous highest crowd of 287 for this league fixture, from the 1998/99 season.   Sevenoaks Town  had their lowest home league attendance of the season, with a crowd of...
