Kent Attendance Stats Weekly Round Up - Issue 5

Highlights for the week ending 30 November 2024



On Tuesday night Deal Town recorded their highest ever home league attendance against Ashford United with a crowd of 400, more than doubling their previous highest crowd from the 2016/17 season. 

Maidstone United recorded their lowest home league attendance of the season, against Eastbourne Borough with a crowd of 1860 on Tuesday night. 

Herne Bay recorded their lowest home league attendance of the season, against Three Bridges with a crowd of 224 on Tuesday night. 

At the only fixture on Wednesday night, Ebbsfleet United recorded their lowest home league attendance of the season, against Eastleigh with a crowd of 1023.

Ebbsfleet United recorded their highest home league attendance against Boston United with a crowd of 1563, which was their highest since the 1960/61 season on Saturday, albeit name as Gravesend & Northfleet.

Cray Wanderers recorded their highest home league attendance against Carshalton Athletic on Saturday, with a crowd of 628, almost doubling the previous highest crowd for this fixture. 

Phoenix Sports recorded their highest crowd of the season of 226, in the first ever league fixture they had hosted against Margate. 

Ramsgate recorded their smashed home league attendance against Erith Town with a crowd of 910, which was their highest since the 1998/99 season on Saturday. Back then the crowd was 141. 

Sittingbourne recorded their recorded home league attendance against AFC Croydon Athletic with a crowd of 217, which was their highest since the 2007/08 season on Saturday. 

On Saturday, Faversham Town almost doubled their highest ever home league attendance against VCD Athletic, in a top of the table clash, with a crowd of 482. 

Holmesdale recorded their highest home league attendance against Bearsted on Saturday, when a crowd of 72 turned up.

Punjab United recorded their highest home league attendance against Rusthall yesterday, with a crowd of 156. 

Snodland Town recorded their highest home league attendance against Hollands & Blair yesterday, with a crowd of 208. 

Bridon Ropes recorded their highest home league attendance against Forest Hill Park on Saturday, with a crowd of 95. 

Canterbury City recorded their lowest home league attendance of the season on Saturday against Greenways with a crowd of 40. 

Lewisham Borough recorded their home league attendance against Croydon, with a crowd of 114 yesterday.

FA Cup Attendances for 1984/85 season

This time back 40 years to the 1984/85 season This was Dartford 's year in the FA Cup in reaching the Second Round Proper, drawing 1-1 at Watling Street at home match against AFC Bournemouth. With the prospect of facing Manchester United in the Third Round if they could overcome Bournemouth in the replay.  Unfortunately, the Darts lost 4-1 in the replay.
